WHAT THE SERVICE DOES

Hiraya prepares Xactimate estimates for roofing, restoration, and construction contractors. You supply the job details. We use them to describe the repairs, count the work, and price the scope. We work remotely with U.S. contractors, from a first file to a steady flow of estimates.

HOW WE HELP

A scope you can check against the site.

  • Repairs listed by area and trade
  • Quantities based on the details you send
  • Scope notes tied to photos and measurements
  • Questions about gaps in the file

WHAT TO PREPARE

Start with the job details.

  • Wide shots and close-ups of the work
  • Measurements, sketches, or plans
  • Damage and repair notes
  • Job location, deadline, and any prior estimate
Use the document checklist
01 / IN PRACTICE

The roof is rarely the whole story.

A roof photo may also show damaged gutters or siding. A room photo may leave the wet ceiling just out of frame. Send the wider view as well as the close-up. Those details help us connect the estimate to the work on site.

02 / IN PRACTICE

Give each quantity a source.

A number is easier to review when you can trace it to a plan, sketch, or field note. Keep those records with the file. If two measurements differ, flag the gap before it becomes part of the estimate.

03 / IN PRACTICE

Review the scope before you use it.

Your team knows the property. Check the estimate against the site, the requested repairs, and any new information. An estimate sets out the work and cost; coverage and payment depend on the claim and the insurer’s review.

All questions
What do I send for an Xactimate estimate?

Send job photos, measurements or plans, repair notes, and any existing estimate. Include the project location and deadline. If part of the file is missing, tell us what you have so we can work out the next step.

Can I get help with just one estimate?

Yes. You can ask about a single file. Hiraya also offers ongoing estimating partnerships for teams with more work to cover.

Is the first estimate free?

Yes. Hiraya offers a free first estimate. Ask the team to confirm which work is included for your project. Ongoing claim handling and supplement work have separate fees.

How long will my estimate take?

The scope and the information in your file affect the schedule. Share your deadline before work starts so the team can confirm a time that fits the job.
