COMMON QUESTIONS
Before you send the first file.
What we do, what it costs, and what to prepare. Start here, then ask us about the details of your job.
What does Hiraya Group do?
Hiraya prepares Xactimate estimates, supports insurance supplements, writes residential and commercial bids, and offers ongoing estimating help for U.S. roofing, restoration, and construction contractors. We also work as public adjusters for Arizona homeowners and property owners with an insurance claim.
Do you work with homeowners?
Yes. Arizona homeowners and property owners can hire Hiraya for public adjusting on their own insurance claim. We review the policy, document the damage, prepare the estimate, and present the claim. Contractors work with us on estimates, supplements, bids, and ongoing support.
Where does Hiraya work?
Hiraya provides remote estimating for U.S. contractors. Public adjusting is currently available in Arizona only. Utah and Nevada licensing is in progress; public adjusting is not yet offered there.
How do I get started?
Start with a brief job overview. Tell us the type of job or claim, the property location, any deadline, and where you need help. We’ll discuss the right service, documents, scope, and fees. Keep private claim files out of the first inquiry.
How much does it cost?
The first estimate is free. Ongoing claim handling is $150 per file plus 10% of increased value. Retail estimates start at $149. Ongoing B2B partnerships have custom quotes. Public adjusting fees are set in a written agreement. Ask what is included and how the fees apply to your project before work starts.
What documents should I prepare?
Start with photos, measurements or plans, and notes about the work. For a supplement, add the full carrier estimate and evidence of what needs to change. For a retail bid, use the latest plans and list any work you want left out. For a claim on your own property, gather the policy, photos of the damage, and anything the insurer has sent.
How long will my estimate take?
The scope, file completeness, and requested work affect timing. Tell us your deadline at the start. The team can then check what is needed and agree a schedule for the job.
Do you guarantee approval or a claim increase?
No. An estimate describes work and cost. A supplement asks for a change. A public adjuster presents your claim. None of these guarantees insurance coverage, approval, a higher payment, or a settlement date.
How can I contact Hiraya?
Email info@hirayagroup.net or use the contact page. Send your inquiry directly through the website. You can also review it first or open the draft in your email app. A brief project overview is enough to start.
Which service should I choose?
For a new repair scope, start with Xactimate estimating. For work missing from an existing carrier estimate, ask about supplement support. For a customer proposal, choose retail bids. For recurring volume, discuss an estimating partnership. If you own property in Arizona and want someone to handle your insurance claim, ask about public adjusting.
Can I start with one project?
Yes. Ask about a single estimate, bid, or claim. Contractors with a regular flow of work can also discuss ongoing support.
